It's curtains for Indian shuttlers at the Singapore Open SS

MEN'S DOUBLES PAIR OF Akshay Dewalkar / Pranaav Jerry Chopra who were crowned the national champions couldn't keep their momentum going as they were defeated by Indonesians at the Singapore Open Super Series.

The second seeds from Indonesia Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan were dominant throughout the match. Ahsan/Hendra won the match in straight games, 21-12, 21-12 without much difficulty.

Women's singles shuttler PV Sindhu and mixed doubles pair of Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Sikki Reddy too ended their campaign after losing to He Bingjaio and Xu Chen/Ma Jin.

Though Sindhu put up a great fight, the Chinese proved too hot on the day and won 11-21, 21-14, 21-14. Chopra/Reddy were defeated in straight games 15-21, 19-21 by Xu/Ma.

All these loses brought an end to India's campaign at Singapore SS.
