Indian shuttlers bow out of the New Zealand GPG after losing in quarters

MEN'S DOUBLES PAIR Manu Attri/ Buss Sumeeth Reddy along with women's doubles pair Jwala Gutta/ Ashwini Ponnappa and mixed doubles duo Pranaav Jerry Chopra/ Sikki Reddy were ousted from the quarter-finals of New Zealand Open Grand Prix Gold.

Sixth seeds Attri/Reddy were defeated by second seeded Korean pair of Ko Sung Hyun/Shin Baek Cheol 10-21, 22-20.

Fourth seeds Jwala/Ashwini had to bow out after losing to unseeded Setyana Mapasa/ Gronya Somerville of Australia 22-24, 8-21.

Unseeded pair of Pranaav/Sikki Reddy lost to second seeds Shin Baek Cheol/Chae Yoo Jung of Korea 14-21, 18-21.

This marked the end of the road for Indian shuttlers at New Zealand GPG.
