The 13th seed Indian had a great outing at the Swiss GPG with wins over higher ranked players including Rajiv Ouseph of England. The final was a rather comfortable victory for the 23-year-old.
He was the lone Indian shuttler to enter the finals. He gave no chance to the German to get back in the match.
His first GPG title was in 2014 at Indonesia Open. Prannoy's calm and composed playing behaviour has finally rewarded him. He expressed his joy on the social media.
Feels great to win my second #GPG title ever, at the #SwissOpen this time!! Thanks, Marc Zwiebler, for a well fought...
