TFG Fantasy Pundit: Pick 7 players from SA and 4 from AFG for this round of WT20

Overview

South Africa will look to get on the points table as they take on Afghanistan in Mumbai tomorrow.

It’s going to be another batting beauty and expect nothing but fireworks from the South African top-order.

For this round of fantasy cricket, pick 7 players from South Africa and 4 from Afghanistan.

Our probable 11 that could take to the field

SA: Quinton de Cock, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis, David Miller, JP Duminy, Chris Morris, Kyle Abbott, Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn, Imran Tahir

AFG- Mohammad  Nabi, Dawlat Zadran, Karim Sadiq, Mohammad Shehzad, Noor Ali Zadran, Rashid Khan, Gulbadin Naib, Shafiqullah, Asghar Stanikzai, Najibullah Zadran, Samiullah Shenwari

Players who cannot be ignored for this round

Hashim Amla- He was simply magnificent in Mumbai and his timing alone is enough to help him score quickly.

De Kock- Once again the keeper will open the batting and can draw an immediate liking to the Afghanistan bowlers.

Rashid Khan- He has arguably been the best bowler for Afghanistan and it will be interesting to see how the young spinner goes against the South Africans.

Dark Horses

Imran Tahir- The premier leggies variations could wreak havoc in the Afghanistan line-up.

Kagiso Rabada- His pace and bounce could cause serious trouble for the inexperienced Afghan batting.

TFG PUNDIT XI: Quinton de Cock (C), Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis (VC), Kyle Abbott, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad  Nabi, Rashid Khan, Shenwari

Edit no.1 (1.30pm): We made two changes to our fantasy XI. Kyle Abbott might not feature in the playing 11 and we have replaced him with Dale Steyn. We have also included all-rounder Shafiqullah for Shenwari.

UPDATED TFG PUNDIT XI: Quinton de Cock (C), Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis (VC), Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad  Nabi, Rashid Khan, Shafiqullah
