Saina's ranking slips to 6th, Srikanth remains constant at 10th
INDIA'S TOP SHUTTLER Saina Nehwal's ranking has dropped from No. 3 to No. 6 according to the BWF rankings released today. Injuries has kept her out of the game for a few months, owing to which the Indian has seen a minor dip in the ranking.
Her first international outing this year was at the All England SSP. Currently she is participating in the Swiss GPG, where she plays her pre-quarter match later today.
PV Sindhu, on the other hand, climbed up to the No.11th spot. She too will play her pre-quarter match later today.
In the men's singles category, Kidambi Srikanth and Parupalli Kashyap's ranking remains constant at No. 10 and No. 17 respectively. Meanwhile, Ajay Jayaram has jumped one spot higher to No. 20 whereas HS Prannoy has dipped to No. 27.
The men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and Buss Sumeeth Reddy also climbed a spot to No. 19 while the women's doubles duo of Jwala Gutta / Ashwini Ponnappa fall one spot to No. 15th.
