AFTER PLAYING 3 matches over the last 8 days and travelling every time in between, the overworked Mohun Bagan players will get a bit of relief to know that their match against Shillong Lajong has been postponed.
The match, to be held at the Barasat Stadium, was originally scheduled for this Saturday, 6th February. But in the light of their tight schedule, the AIFF has agreed to move it back to 17th February, kicking off at 7 pm.
This gives the Bagan players some time to recover from their hectic ordeal before they hit the road again for two crucial away matches against Mumbai FC and Bengaluru FC.
This alters Lajong's travel plans by a bit. They will travel to Kolkata a couple of days late to take on East Bengal on 9th February. From there they will travel to Aizawl to play against Aizawl FC. After that they will return to Kolkata to take on Mohun Bagan.
