Shuttlers and actors combined to put up exciting two day event for the fans in Mumbai
THE MATCHES OF PREMIER BADMINTON LEAGUE (PBL) in Mumbai ended on Sunday and for the next three days, the matches will be played in Lucknow. It started with a grand ceremony that saw Bollywood music composers Salim–Sulaiman and actress Jacqueline Fernandez performing to their hits.
A half filled stadium on Saturday at the National Sports Club of India saw a fantastic response from the crowd on Sunday. Much of the attendance could easily be ascribed the presence of Akshay Kumar, who is the also the brand ambassador of the league and the co-owner of Mumbai Rockets Bollywood. For the Chennai Smashers team, Tamil actor and current minister Vijayakanth managed to get the fans of Chennai team cheering.
