TEAM PROFILE: Raipur Rangers will need Alize, Agut, Ramanathan to play out of their skin
THE RAIPUR RANGERS will be making their debut in the Champions Tennis League (CTL) this season and have drafted Spaniard clay court specialist, Roberto Bautista Agut in the squad for the men’s category. Meanwhile, French clay courter, Alize Cornet too has been roped in for the women’s category.
In the legends category, former French Open champion and clay great, Thomas Muster will lead the way. India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan will be slotted in the men’s doubles section. Indian juniors Parikshit Somani and Vaidehi Chaudhari too will be a part of the Rangers team.
The Rangers are lacking in firepower and will heavily rely on the previous year’s CTL experience of Cornet and Ramanathan.
