Dhoni takes time off to meet special children at charity event

AFTER HAVING LOST  the T20I and the ODI series against South Africa, India's limited-overs captain MS Dhoni on Tuesday spent some time with special children at a charity event held in Pune.

Dhoni was seen interacting with mentally and physically challenged children for over an hour as they performed in a cultural show organised by the Mukul Madhav Foundation. The jovial cricketer also distributed gifts and posed for endless pictures with the delighted kids, who were excited to see the Indian captain up, close and personal.

The children appeared in colourful dresses for the song and dance programmes, which also included a dance sequence on 'Ganesh Vandana', along with the singing of the national anthem, according to a report in the DNA

Industrialist Prakash Chhabria, head of the Mukul Madhav Foundation, said that the funds raised on this occasion would be utilised to provide medical and educational help to the weaker sections of the society.
