22/10/2015 - FC Goa vs Kerala Blasters FC

It's a battle between two teams who are yet to actualize their potential. FC Goa have stumbled hard against Chennaiyin FC and came back emphatically to gain a win over NorthEast United, while after a win and a draw to start the campaign with, Kerala Blasters are reeling from two back-to-back defeats. But the takeaway here is that in none of the defeats were they miles behind the victors. Goa lost to Chennai by 4 goals at home. Kerala lost both games by 1 goal margins, at home and away, and in both matches, their main strength, that is the defence, showed signs of their potential. And now with the likes of Sandesh Jhingan and Carlos Marchena back from national duty and injury, their 5-member fortification brigade is stronger than ever. It's not that Delhi Dynamos don't have a good defence; their back four led by John Arne Riise have been instrumental in the three wins they have gathered on the trot. But what we feel here is that Kerala Blasters will take this one. They will sneak in a goal and then sit on the lead. Sanchez Watt is dangerous on his day and a good day is long overdue for the lad.
