MOHUN BAGAN HAVE caused a huge upset in the Premier League Next Generation Cup by holding English top division club West Ham United to a 1-1 draw.
The Mariners got the lead in the first half courtesy Suhail finding the net. In the second half, the British side went all out to get back in the game and eventually found the equalizer. And it looked like they would get the win as well when they got a penalty, but Bagan keeper Arsh managed to save the spot kick.
This draw is a major result for the Green and Maroons. If they are able to produce favourable results against Bengaluru FC and Stellenbosch they have a realistic shot at topping the group and qualifying for the next round.
