Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket tips for India vs Australia, 4th Test at Border-Gavaskar Trophy

The 4th match of the match Border-Gavaskar Trophy test series between India and Australia will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium Motera, in Ahmedabad Gujarat, India. The match will start at 9:30 AM IST.

Before an in-depth peep into what may or may not happen in the 4thmatch of the match Border-Gavaskar Trophy, let’s dive in to the details of the third match that finished. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to  bat  first. it was  a below average batting performance from the Indian side as none of the Indian batsmen were able to form a meaningful partnership that could take India to a big score. Having said that, one needs to acknowledge the fact that the pitch was not up to the test match standards. The ball was turning 8.4 degrees in the first session of the test match on the first day of the test match.

The veteran Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden rightly pointed out that he doesn’t think that a pitch in a test match should turn this much on the first day. He also added that he doesn’t care about what the result is, according to him this pitch is not a good test Pitch and it was almost impossible to bat on this pitch. This sentiment was not only accord by Matthew Hayden but ex-Indian cricketers  and chief selector, Dilip Vengsarkar safelt the same and said, “this pitch was a joke with test cricket.”

This situation became increasingly challenging for both the sides. The ball was turning and bouncing furiously,  and excruciatingly keeping low. The pitch resembled a mine field, where batsmen from neither of the sides looked comfortable and were constantly on their toes. Both the sides had a hard time and hopefully this will lead to some strong moments in the next match to be played on 9th March at the Narendra Modi Stadium Motera, in Ahmedabad Gujarat.

The 4th Test match to be played in Narendra Modi Stadium between India and Australia is going to be the last test match of the 4 Test match series of the border-Gavaskar  trophy. As far as the pitch goes, it will have true bounce and carry for the fast bowlers, which also signifies that the ball will come comfortably on to the bat and lead to a relatively much easier shot making for the batsmen, as they will be able to trust the bounce on the pitch.

There will also be Some assistance for the spin from the wicket on the 3rd and the 4th day, based on observing the patterns of the Ahmedabad pitch in the last  couple of one days and the scenario in the T20s is a strong endorsement in itself,  that it will be a good sporting wicket.

I don't think on this pitch the toss will matter so much, as this pitch will be even for both the sides. Yet whichever team wins the toss, whether they get a chance to bowl or bat first ,they will have to start the test match well with immense stability. The team that gets to bat first, will have to look at setting a colossal score on the board. If they don't do that then they will have to play Catchup cricket for the rest of the Test match.
