No other new Zealand batsman applied himself on the crease as a result of which new Zealand war bundled out for a score of 295 and India won the game by 90 runs, completing a clean sweep over New Zealand in the one day series. a below average performance in this one day series new Zealand team failed terribly both with the bat and the ball.

Now going on to the first T20 match of the MasterCard T20 Trophy India needs to be on guard and not fall into complacency. New Zealand would be looking to give an improved Performance in this series and India on the other hand should be  looking to continue their domination like they did in the one day series. You should expect a competitive series from New Zealand in the T20 format, with players like Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips both the players are more suited to T20 and will be the key to New Zealand’s success in the T20 format.

The new Zealand T20 Captain Mitchell Santner will be crucial in restricting India to lower scores. Four overs will be decisive In determining the score that India would get to. If they bat first and  their 4 overs are miserly than the new Zealand team will be is likely to succed in restricting India to a lowest total. The need of the hour is to have control over these few hours and proceed comfortably in the rest of the Game.
