Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket tips for India vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI (15th January, Kerala)

The 3rd and final match of the MasterCard ODI series will be played between India and Sri Lanka at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Kerala. The match will start at 1:30 PM IST.

In the second ODI the Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss in Kolkata's Eden Gardens and choose to bat first. The Indian bowlers did splendidly well to skittle out the opponents for a meagre score of 215 in 39.4 overs. To bowl so fine on a batting beauty like this speaks volumes about the quality of the Indian bowling attack.

When the Indian team came out to bat they had a quick fire start though they lost a couple of wickets in quick succession. But the 75 run partnership between KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya calmed things down and when Hardik Pandya got out for a score of 36, Axar Patel’s entertaining 21 of 21 balls, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav partnership of 25 runs in 21 balls, all culminated into a victory for team India.  By virtue of winning the second game India won the series by a score line of two nil.

Now let’s talk about the third ODI Mastercard trophy. This match is a dead rubber but the Indian team could look forward to making a few changes in the playing 11 of the third ODI. Ishan Kishan could get a look in place of Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Shami could be rested and replaced by medium fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. The Indian team would be looking forward for a clean sweep of the Srilankan team in the one day series.

As far as the Thiruvananthapuram pitch goes the last game that we played on that pitch against South Africa, the ball was swinging perfidiously, and going by that experience if you are a batsman you might have to be a bit extra cautious as this might not be a 300 plus wicket pitch, instead it might be a 280 to 270.

Sri Lankans would be aiming for some pride trip by winning a solitaire game in the series. if they want to win this last game their batsmen need to step up to the task, specially their middle order who have failed miserable to string together match winning partnerships. They have been losing wickets constantly in the middle overs. They need to fix that if they want to avoid a clean sweep.
