After a disappointing performance in the one-day Series, the Indian team will be looking ahead to an improved functioning in the test series. Having the standing of a far more superior test side, there is still hope of the Indian side delivering well.  As for as Bangladesh goes, their strong one-day reputation is no match to their depletion in test cricket. They lack the skill to construct an inning and the patience to bat session by session in a test match. whichever team is looking to win a test match, they have look to bat at least two sessions to put themselves into a comfortable position. In test matches you have the luxury of taking your time in settling yourself down and setting up yourself for a big score.  No limited overs, no pressure to scouring fast and no time crunch. So, pick runs in an easy-peasy way as there is no need to rush yourself or play high risk cricketing shots. slowly and steadily building up your game is the way to go.

While playing test cricket the pitch also plays a crucial role in determining what kind of shots you should play on a particular type of pitch. if the pitch is a slow turner than you play shots comfortably off the back foot, if it’s turning quickly off the track then as a batsman you will need to play most of your shots off the front foot, and if the pitch is abrasive then reverse swing comes in to play. You need to play with a straight with the bat in front of your pad in every test match. The first inning is crucial it will be no different in this test match. Whichever team gets a chance to bat first should look to pile on a big score in the first innings and the bowling team should look to get as many wickets as possible-quickly.  the team that has the upper hand for most of the six sessions will eventually end up winning the test match.
