Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket tips for England vs New Zealand, 2nd Test (10th June 2022)

England will take on New Zealand in the second test match of their three match test series, which begins at Trent Bridge Cricket ground in London on 10th of June.

After a horrendous performance in the first test match where New Zealand's batting order collapsed like a pack of cards, the team will be hoping for a better act in this match. Captain Kane Stuart Williamson and the entire New Zealand side need a desperate comeback into form, as this crucial match will be a deciding factor for their fate in the series. Losing it certainly would mean handing the trophy over to England on a platter. Victory against their strong opponents is the only option for them.

On the other hand, England will be looking to carry on from where they left off, marching ahead with the momentum which they established in the first test. In this tooth and nail clash, the outfield is expected to be quick after a couple of hours. Things get exciting when the ball loses its shine, gets soft, stops swinging and the lateral movement stops happening off the pitch. In this edgy scenario the Trent Bridge Cricket ground will transform into a batting beauty.

TFG Fantasy Stars for NZ vs ENG

New Zealand:

Tom Latham is a dexterous player. Nimble with his footwork and a great judge of line and length of the ball, he has played 66 matches and scored 4517 runs with an average of 41.6 in his test career so far. He is technically wide-ranging and a gritty performer. He plays the cut and the pull with ease and is a solid contributor to his team.

Will Young, a good prospect for the New Zealand team, can play the straight drive well down the ground and with a bit of work on his consistency the chap will craft a bright future for himself. So far, he has played 10 matches and has scored 441 runs with an average of 27.56.

Kane Williamson has played 87 test matches, scored 7289 runs and taken 30 wickets, holding a batting average of 52.8 and a bowling economy rate of 3.36 in his test career so far. He is a world class player who just needs one inning to get back his mojo. The whole of New Zealand will be hoping that it is in this match that he bounces back into form. Hopefully he will bring back the lost smile on the faces of the New Zealanders.

England:

Alex Lees, having played 4 test matches and scoring 171 runs with an average of 21.37 in his test career so far, is a well organised player who can play classy drives in front of the wicket. He possesses the rare gift of timing.

Ollie Pope has played 24 tests matches & scored 1049 runs with an average of 27.60 and he is a talent to behold. He has hit a hundred with the bat including six fifties in his test career so far and can play the lofted cover drive with style. If persistent he can bring laurels to the English cricket team.

Joe Root, a true team man, has played 118 test matches, scored 10,015 runs with an average of 49.58, including his 26 test hundreds. He is a proper technician with the bat and plays some beautiful flicks through the offside as well as leg side.
