THE HERO MMA PROMOTION held their 5th professional fight night event this weekend with a stacked card full of over two dozen professional fights and a large number of amateur bouts. The pro section of the card began with a kickboxing bout.
At the top of the card were two Lightweight bouts. In the main event, Mohammad Azim Mokhlis from Afghanistan beat Mazher Khan. In the co-main event, Sultan Kokni got the judges' nod over Akib Ali.
In another interesting occurence, Vaibhav Deore who was scheduled to fight Vikash Choudhary at Flyweight (According to the event's Tapology listing), also stepped up to face Sujit Gund at Lightweight, whose scheduled opponent Mir Wais could not participate in the card. Deore lost to Gund, but later defeated Vikash. The Hero's official social media page categorized both fights as professional bouts.

Lightweight - Mohammad Azim Mokhlis defeated Mazher Khan by KO/TKO. Mokhlis moves to 2-0 as a pro, Khan's record stands at 2-2.
Lightweight - Sultan Kokni beat Akib Ali by unanimous decision. Sultan moves to 2-1, Akib at 2-1-1.
Lightweight - Pradeep Huda submitted Amitej Rao by rear naked choke in round 2. Pradeep now at 2-2, Amitej at 1-1.
Flyweight - Ehtesham Ansari defeated Sumit Jadhav by unanimous decision. Ansari now at 4-1, Sumit at 3-3.
Light Heavyweight - Jayesh Patil won his pro debut by stopping Glen Dcunha by TKO in the first round. Dcunha's record stands at 1-1.
Flyweight - Vaibhav Barde submitted pro debutant Jaswant Gupta in the first round via rear naked choke. Barde's record improves to 3-0.
Flyweight - Vaibhav Deore (Second bout of the night) beat Vikash Choudhary via split decision after 3 rounds. Deore's record is now at 2-2 while Vikash slides down to 0-2.
Women's Strawweight - Aarti Khatri stopped Anuja Singh via TKO. Aarti is now at 4-0, Anuja stands at 1-2.
Bantamweight - Pro debutant Hansraj Samota knocked out fellow debutant Vijayanand Rajendran.
Bantamweight - Ravi Saw beat debutant Utpal Chang Mai by split decision and improved to 4-1.
Bantamweight - Anurag parihar defeated Raj Madhesiya by split deicsion. Both were pro debutants.
Middleweight - Prathemesh Deshpande defeated Vaibhav Patil by unanimous decision. Both were pro debutants.
Flyweight - Mukul Kashyap submitted pro debutant Vikas maurya via triangle chocke in the second round. Mukul's record moved to 3-1.
Flyweight - Shanu Paswan knocked out Ram Kumar in just 6 seconds of the first round. Both were pro debutants.
Flyweight - Sagar Kashyap beat Marufalam Shaikh by split decision. Sagar moves to 2-0 while Marufalam falls to 0-2.
Flyweight - Latesh Rathod stopped Randeep Singh via TKO in the first round. Both were pro debutants.
Bantamweight - Prashant Singh stopped Vedvart Arya in just 15 seconds of the first round by TKO. Both were pro debutants.
Lightweight - Pro debutant Paaleee Sathishwer stopped Vinit Desai in the first round by TKO. Vinit's record slides to 0-2.
Flyweight - Vikas Gupta submitted Himanshu Mittal via rear naked choke in the first round. Both were pro debutants.
Strawweight - Arun Bhist submitted pro debutant Deep Mukherjee via armbar in the first round. Arun's record improved to 2-1.
Bantamweight - Sahil Rana beat pro debutant Gajendra Kharatmol by unanimous decision and improved to 2-0.
Lightweight - Pro debutant Vikrant Dalve stopped Ayan Ghosh in the first round. Ayan's record is now at 1-1.
Women's Strawweight - Pro debutant Anjali Singh beat Tejaswini Nandedkar via doctor stoppage. Tejaswini's record slides to 1-2.
Flyweight - Sumit Kumar defeated pro debutant Rakesh Bagri by TKO in the first round and improved to 3-0.
Flyweight - Arbaz Shaikh beat pro debutant Themreiyo Muinao via unanimous decision and moved to 2-0.
Lightweight - Pro debutant Sujit Gund beat Vaibhav Deore by unanimous decision. Deore's record slid to 1-2; he would later go on to fight on the same night again.
Strawweight (Kickboxing) - Ritesh Gowari defeated Mangesh Sapte by unanimous decision.
