SOUL OF WARRIORS, A NEW India-based Mixed Martial Arts promotion, has been turning heads recently with a slew of recruitments to their roster.
The organization which has held two events till now is planning to return to action, and ahead of that they have added some notably experienced fighters to their ranks.
Among those who have joined in May are Abhijeet Petkar (4-5), Siddharth Chandanshive (6-1), Irfan Khan (7-6), Amit Kumar Singh (2-3), Nitesh Yadhav (3-2, Vikas Dahiya (3-4-0-1), Mohit Arya and Bon Jovi Nongmaithem (3-1).
Each of these fighters has signed multi-fight deals with the promotion, according to SOW's official social media. Most of the aforementioned fighters are familiar to the Indian MMA fans through their past fights in the Super Fight League.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down professional MMA across the world and particularly in India, SOW is targeting a return to active competition as soon as July, provided the circumstances are favourable. Multiple future events are also reportedly in the works.
The promotion is expected to announce more signings in the near future.
