FC Bengaluru United enter partnership with prominent La Liga club Sevilla FC
FC BENGALURU UNITED HAVE entered a strategic partnership with Spanish club Sevilla FC.
FCBU, who play in the 2nd Division League and recently finished 3rd in the I-League Qualifiers, will work with the prominent La Liga club with "focus on innovation and international expansion in football and technology," a statement from the club said.

The deal will help Sevilla try to expand their fanbase in India. Major Spanish top flight clubs like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have sizeable fanbases in this country and others like Atletico de Madrid have already made moves to work with Indian clubs to gain more presence in the market as well as develop young talent.
Bengaluru United, who were established 3 years ago, play in the Bangalore Super Division and made their first entry at national level football in 2019-20 at the 2nd Division League. The club, owned by Gaurav Manchandna of Nimida Sports football club, aims to qualify for the I-League and become a contender to be reckoned with in the national football landscape. This deal with Sevilla FC is expected to give them a leg up in attracting more young talent as they build themselves up for a breakthrough campaign.
