The Premier League is back after a two week long international break and what a better way to kickstart things with the Merseyside Derby. All the events that unfolded before the break have made the clash a rather entertaining one, with the match being played exactly ten years after Liverpool's last loss to The Toffees, as Liverpool look to bounce back from a humiliating 7-2 defeat at Villa Park, whereas Everton are the only side in the League having won all their matches and have scored the most goals at home, coincidentally The Reds have one of the worst away defensive records in the league.

1. Calvert-Lewin is in the goalscoring form of his life; he is the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues with nine in six outings across all competitions - including two hat-tricks .
2. Allan, Andre Gomes and Coleman all missed Everton's win over Brighton & Hove Albion before the break but are expected to return to the side for the derby. Yerry Mina is unavailable due to thigh injury, but the side has been boosted by deadline day signing of Ben Godfrey.
1. Klopp's side will be boosted by the return of Thiago and Sadio Mane who are back in training after recovering from coronavirus.
2.Liverpool are not quite at full strength, though, and one of their absentees is a significant one with Alisson still sidelined by the shoulder injury which ruled him out of the last two games before the break. Adrian is once again expected to deputise despite his mistake for the opener against Villa.
3. Mo Salah will look to score his 100th goal for The Reds, after having scored 99 in just 158 games.
