PROMISING YOUNGSTER SUBHA GHOSH is set to stay at Mohun Bagan, reportedly with a brand new extended contract.
The forward came up from Mohun Bagan's own academy and made his debut for the first team last season at the age of 18. After playing at the Durand Cup, he made 8 starts in the I-League and scored 3 goals in the champions' campaign.
He along with Sk Sahil were the two notable new graduates from the Mohun Bagan Academy who impressed the fans with their performance last season. Both of them had multi-year contracts, and both have stayed with the club. While in Sahil's case the current contract runs till 2023, Subha's contract is reportedly till 2025.
The signing of Spanish defender José Luis Espinosa Arroyo aka Tiri, who played for Atletico de Madrid B in the past, has also been recently announced by the Mariners.
