Sandeep Lamichhane

It's hard to forget the thriller Delhi Capitals played out against Kings XI Punjab in April 2019, with Iyer's rock steady run chase helping Delhi get to their target of 164 with two balls to spare.

But the story of the match would be incomplete without mentioning how earlier in the evening Sandeep Lamichhane dealt repeated blows to Punjab's innings every time it was about to gain some stability.

Off the top of the card, it was Lamichhane who led with the ball. KL Rahul got stumped early on and when Chris Gayle was looking at his destructive best with a score of 69 brandishing a strike rate of 186.48, Lamichhane got him out, and that's what ultimately reduced Punjab to a manageable total. He also picked up Curran for a duck; a fine caught-and-bowled to top things up.

He gave away 40 runs in 4 overs, facing the hardest parts of the Gayle storm. But he did, ultimately, get Gayle out, which gave Delhi's batsmen a fighting chance which they used well.
