ISL 2020 -- Kerala Blasters want fans to design their third kit
KERALA BLASTERS HAVE LAUNCHED a kit-designing contest for their fans, allowing them to design the third kit the team will wear during the 2020-21 season.
As Indian football deals with the prospect of a season without fan presence in the stadium, KBFC have taken an initiative that will allow the fans to be present in spirit.

The kit design contest will run till 26th July, and fans can submit their entries via email. A statement on the KBFC official website says,
"Flex your creative juices beyond limits and take part in the official Kerala Blasters FC Kit Design Competition for the upcoming season. The best design will be selected as the official THIRD KIT for Kerala Blasters during ISL season 2020-21."
The theme of the design is to be 'Salute Our Heroes', rules say the designers should avoid "shades of green (including bluish green) and the colours of the Home Kit (yellow and blue."
Previously KBFC fans have demonstrated a knack for creative expression through their banners and tifos, especially one that paid tribute to those who worked tirelessly to save and aid the victims of the 2018 floods.
Under newly appointed head coach Kibu Vicuna, KBFC will seek to reverse their fledging fortunes from last season. But they'll have to do so without one of their biggest strengths - the fans in who throng their home stadium in Kochi - being in attendance. This is, however, a good way for the franchise to demonstrate their appreciation to the fanbase, and perhaps also a way for the players to carry the fans' energy into the battle.
