#Dravid's experience worked: Garg

Priyam Kumar Garg, it'd have been the name of our Indian U-19 captain who would have lifted 2020 worldcup if everything went as planned. Nevertheless, the Indian team showcased some great talents and uplifted the spirit of cricket fans about the future. On 13th May, Wednesday at 7:30 PM, which is his regular Live time on the Helo platform, he came to interact with his thousands of fanbase and #HeloCric family and shared his moments of joy and accorded some deep insights.

On this live, when asked who is the best U-19 captain, Priyam picked Mohammad Kaif who has won the very first U-19 world cup for Team India and recalled that even Yuvraj was part of that and their amazing contribution as a team. And when asked, Garg also picked Kuldeep Yadav, as one best spinner in current playing Xl of Team India; apparently, who is also from Uttara Pradesh. But Garg rejected the claim that he is selecting the players from UP, he mentioned, it is not like he is doing any favoritism but he just likes them as a cricketer.

On Helo live he further revealed that if he gets a chance to pick his best batsman and pacer in the current Indian team, then Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah will be his choice. He continued by praising the footwork and playing style of Hitman and added, he has the best timing, and he picked this name ahead of Kohli and KL Rahul. He mentioned that he is following Rohit's cricketing shots.

And in-between, Priyam was asked about Sledging. For this, he explained the significance of sledding in international cricket. He explained that sledging is normal and it will affect the opposite team members' mindset. But we need to focus on the game when we are sledged by other players. I prefer to talk with my co-batsman and walking if anybody tries to affect my focus by sledging. I don't want to think about their comments, I try to ignore them. And interestingly he revealed even he did a lot of sledging during U-19 WorldCup. He opines that it will boost up the team spirit.

Other than this, Priyam articulates Yashaswi Jaiswal and Ravi Bishnoi as compact cricketers, who are the highest run-scorer and wicket-taker in U-19 WorldCup. Ravi Bishnoi has a clear mindset, said Priyam. Even he had tough times, but he overcame it. He enjoys his hard work and whenever he will be in the ground, his energy level becomes high, he wants to give 100% and it'll result in charging the whole team. And if I've to give a rating to his bowling, he is 10/10 to me, Garg added. On Yashasvi Jaiswal, Garg pinpointed Jaiswal's focus, and discipline that makes him who he is. He mentioned, Jaiswal meditates, and he is with good thoughts, which made him give a great performance in the Worldcup also.

During this live session, he also promoted #MeAndMyStar and #FitnessAtHome campaign. And he made everybody aware about the mental fitness. He mentioned, Cricket won't change. Cricket is same in every level. But you have to grow. Knowledge of basics will remains the same, develop your mental level, and thrive.
