FC GOA SECURED THEIR MOST IMPORTANT win of the season so far when they pipped ATK 2-1 to rise to the top of the Indian Super League points table.
After a goalless first half, the match saw a flurry from both teams within a six minute period following the hour mark that produced all three goals of the game.
The Gaurs took the lead through Mourtada Fall, but only minutes later ATK equalized through former East Bengal striker Jobby Justin. But then, FC Goa's star forward Corominas swung the game back in favour of the home team.

The win has taken FC Goa to the top of the table, with 15 points from 8 matches and they'll look to carry on the good form when they welcome debutants Odisha FC to Fatorda this Sunday.
Meanwhile, ATK's second loss of the season means they have slipped from the top position. Their star studded squad will seek to get a win back when they face the bottom placed Hyderabad FC next, but over the next month they'll have a tough few games, facing Bengaluru FC for the first time, then taking on Kerala Blasters who beat them in the first leg and facing FC Goa again.
