EAST BENGAL MIDFIELDER Jaime Colado Santos has landed in hot water following his conduct with ball boys after the match against Punjab FC.
Following the Red and Golds' trip to Ludhiana on 7th December which ended in a 1-1 draw, Jaime created controversy when he walked over to the ball boys, started arguing then kicked a ball towards them. The ball did not hit anyone.
However, the matter is reportedly being taken seriously by the AIFF Disciplinary Committee. Jaime was given until 13th of December to respond to a show-cause notice and handed interim suspension until the Committee convenes to pass a final decision on his potential punishment.
As a result, Jamie is set to miss Saturday's match against TRAU FC and remains in doubt for the all-important Kolkata Derby clash against arch rivals Mohun Bagan on 22nd December.
