I-League 2019-20 HIGHLIGHTS -- Aizawl FC earn last minute victory against Indian Arrows

AIZAWL FC EARNED A last minute victory against Indian Arrows in a match with a fiery second half.

Playing their second home game of the I-League season, Indian Arrows put up a good defence against the visitors from Mizoram.

The first half went goalless, but after the one hour mark William Lalnunfela scored to put his team ahead. However, the Arrows kept on attempting a comeback, which they earned 81 minutes into the match through Vikram Pratap Singh.

But Aizawl did not back down and it was Zoherliana who found the net just before the final whistle to earn a crucial late victory for the People's Club.

While Indian Arrows' performance was encouraging, they'll be disappointed to suffer the second defeat in a row; especially when they came within seconds of picking up their first point of the campaign.

As for Aizawl FC, who lost to NEROCA in their previous match, this is a welcome win. They are now 3rd on the league table with 4 points from 3 matches.
