NorthEast United FC sign Martin Chaves; 21 year old forward from Uruguay
HAILING FROM URUGUAY, Martin Cháves,has represented the national Under 17 team. His performances led him to get call ups from clubs like Club Atlético Peñarol and Juventud de Las Piedras, playing for the youth teams. In Brazil, Martin went on to play for the Under 20 side of Gremio.

The youngster inks a one year deal with NorthEast United FC team in the Indian Super League. At NEUFC, Chaves will find fellow national Federico Gallego, who impressed for the Highlanders last term.
NEUFC also have signed Barreiro and Robert Jarni as the other foreign players in the team.
