Both Markande and Rutherford are young talents who have showcased their case in the Indian Premier League well. Mayank has appeared in 17 matches for the Mumbai Indians, picking up 16 wickets. He was especially impressive last year in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, his very second outing for the franchise, where he picked up 4 wickets for just 23 runs.

Sherfane Rutherford was a notable signing for Delhi Capitals this year with a salary of Rs 2 crore. He as appeared in 7 IPL matches so far, notching up a couple of good performances. He is particularly known for his 13 ball 28 not out spell that he played towards the end of Delhi Capitals' innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore, which helped his team get a late surge that ensured their victory. He has also picked up 1 wicket with the ball.

Both Mayank and Sherfane are young exciting prospects in the IPL, and the swap deal serves to enhance both teams' strength. But overall, it appears Mumbai Indians who have come out on top of this deal, bagging a potential international superstar for their roster.
