THE INDIAN FOOTBALL TEAM FELL to a 2-4 defeat to Tajikistan in the inaugural match of Hero Intercontinental Cup 2019 at Ahmedabad last night.
The first half saw the Blue Tigers get off to an early start with Sunil Chhetri converting from the spot and later on scoring a scorcher from the edge of the box. But in the second half, defensive errors led to a rally from Tajikistan where they found their way past Gurpreet Singh Sandhu 4 times, taking the win.
