ONE Warrior Series 6 -- Fight is official for 3 Indian fighters face international opponents
WITH A LUCRATIVE CONTRACT to one of the biggest MMA promotions in the world up for grabs, 3 Indian fighters are in Singapore to fight in ONE Warrior Series 6.
In a Strawweight bout, Manthan Rane (amateur record 3-0) will make his professional debut against Filipino fighter Allan Albindo, who will also step into the professional circuit for the first time.
Following that in another Strawweight contest, Susovan Ghosh (pro record 4-3) will square off with Dave Banguigui (5-1), the second Indian vs Filipino match-up in the card.
But the most intriguing fight involving an Indian athlete will be SFL veteran Javed Mulla's (7-2) Welterweight contest against American fighter De'Von Morris (4-4). Apart from this being Javed's first fight against an international opponent, Morris also has won 2 of his last fights in the ONE Warrior Series itself, so it promises to be an intriguing bout that will test both fighters.
In another fight with subcontinental flavour, Nepali fighter Sandeep Gurung (0-2) will face Pakistani pro debutant Irfan Ahmed (amateur 1-2) in a Strawweight contest.
