UEFA Europa League final: Chelsea vs Arsenal; Battle to secure continental glory

THE FIRST OF TWO all-English European cup finals Unai Emery's Arsenal meet Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea in the decider for this season's Europa League crown in Baku, Azerbaijan. At stake, is the second biggest trophy in European football and, for Arsenal, a place in the Champions League next season. (Chelsea have already qualified by finishing third in the Premier League.)

Interestingly, considering the Premier League affair, this match-up will be the third time this season that the two teams have faced off. The first contest was won by Sarri, with the second then being secured by Emery. 

Both the coaches believe in pass-oriented game pressing forward in attack and plugging defense lapses on counter attack. Serri is a staunch believer of 4-3-3 formation, hardly deviating from his style of play. Emery is more tactical and plays more on the situation for every single match with back three or back four, midfield three or two, man in the front or outright wingers.

Mesut Ozil will need to perform his magic to create openings in Chelsea defense to link midfield and attack with Aaron Ramsey injured and Mikhitaryan watching the match from distance.

Jorginho has to perform for Chelsea with accurate passes and not getting careless with sideways passes and making the attacking formation coming to a halt awaiting for the ball by giving away to the apponents.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be striker to be watched for Arsenal in combination with Alexandre Lacazette for he moves up on his own with speed and finishing and he will create chances with slightest opening given to score.

Eden Hazard will be the man talked about for Chelsea for few men in the game can create goals from difficult situations and the ball at his feet means danger is near. He has body built which gives him power on the ground for powerful low shots and move swiftly into position to score a goal from any angle.

Arsenal can win: for Emery can spot weakness and make adjustments in the game with Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira frustrating Chelsea’s midfield and neutralize any attacking formation from the opposition.
 
Chelsea can win for Arsenal defence can be exposed of individual errors and are self destructive in plugging lapses and it is certain Chelsea will punish any mistakes made by the defence.
