THE ASIAN DREAM for India ended in disappointment but not before it surprised many a doubters who expected India to exit even without a fight. The tournament being expanded to 24 teams did make the process of qualification a tad easier. But being placed in a group with Kyrgyz Republic really made the job much more complex. India qualified for the finals standing first in the group stage. With the confidence of having an unbeaten streak going for a very long time, India headed into the tournament with a belief.
