I-league 2018-19 -- WATCH HIGHLIGHTS -- Minerva Punjab trump Aizawl FC at their own backyard

IN A BATTLE BETWEEN defending champions Minerva Punjab and the previous champs Aizawl FC, the defending champs came out on top.

Held at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Salem Veng, Aizawl, the match saw the visitors take an early lead through Lancine Toure. Near the hour mark Toure doubled the lead for Minerva. Aizawl didn't look in control throughout the match, but eventually they got one back, with Dodoz converting a penalty.

But it was too little too late, as the Minerva held on for the remainder of the game and registered their first campaign win on their very first game on the road.
