THE STARS HAVE ALIGNED and two of the biggest names in the world of mixed martial arts are going face to face.

Ahead of UFC 229, undefeated Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagovedov (26-0-0) is squaring off with former two-division champ Conor McGregor (21-3-0). Apart from being one of the most intriguing match-ups in the history of the division, this fight has an epic backstory which culminated with McGregor throwing a dolly through a bus window trying to pick a street fight with Nurmagomedov. 

Since that fateful day, the two have not come face to face. But that changes today.
