Kumite 1 League signs on prominent Brazilian MMA fighter Paulo “Bananada” Silva
In celebration of the growing interest in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) as a sport in our country, India- based global MMA promoter Kumite 1 League, has revealed its first marquee fighter – Paulo “Bananada” Silva. Having scaled great heights in the world of MMA, Silva has rubbed shoulders with some of the best in the MMA industry. The fight night will be graced by the legendary Mike Tyson at the NSCI Dome in Worli, Mumbai.
Kumite 1 League has partnered with the All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF) and World Kickboxing Network (WKN) and is primed to deliver thrilling bouts of action to fans in India. Over the past few years, the league has worked to identify and nurture the talents of top-tier global fighters who have shown great strength, skill and determination to succeed. Paulo Silva is the first of the many international fighters who will be joining the league. A host of fighters of international as well as Indian origin will be seen at the fight night.

Back in the day, Paulo Silva was known to have fought with his bare knuckles and is an exemplary jiu jitsu expert. At 33, Paulo Bananada has a professional record of 22 wins and 11 losses. Over the years, he has built a strong fanbase in India due to his active involvement in promoting the sport of MMA in the country.
