Fantasy Cricket: Dream11 tips for 2nd ODI-- England v Australia

Overview

England and Australia will play the second ODI tomorrow at Cardiff. The weather might not be very friendly for the game. Some showers are expected.

As far as the team combination goes, we feel the hosts will remain unchanged. However, the possibility of Mark Wood being benched for Tom Curran cannot be ruled out.

The Aussies though could be tempted to bring in Darcy Short. Remains to be seen who goes out if that happens.

We expect another decent batting wicket at Cardiff. Spinners from both teams could get some help.

Although Hales and Roy have blown hot and cold, we feel dropping both could backfire.

Probable 11

ENG- Roy, Bairstow, Hales, Root, Morgan, Butler, Ali, Plunkett, Rashid, Curran/Wood, Willey

AUS- Short, Marsh/Head, Finch, Stoinis, Paine, Maxwell, Agar, Neser, Richardson, Tye, Stanlake

Key Players

Root- We told you dropping him could be a bad move. He responded with a 50 in the opener. Expect more from this champion batsman.

Ali- Was brilliant with the ball in the first game. We also expect him to score with the willow.

Stanlake- Has been bowling with pace and has also improved his accuracy. He is likely to strike a few with the new ball.
