Intercontinental Cup -- Team India finally announce 23-man squad

STEPHEN CONSTANTINE KEPT HIS cards close to his chest till the very last minute when it came to the Hero Intercontinental Cup 2018.

The 23-man India squad for the four nation tournament being held in Mumbai was announced late night on 31st May, about 21 hours before the Blue Tigers took to the field for their first match against Chinese Taipei.

Here's the full India squad listed below - 

GOALKEEPERS: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Amrinder Singh, Vishal Kaith.

DEFENDERS: Pritam Kotal, Anas Edathodika, Salam Ranjan Singh, Sandesh Jhingan, Lalruatthara, Narayan Das, Jerry Lalrinzuala, Subhasish Bose.

MIDFIELDERS: Udanta Singh, Ashique Kuruniyan, Rowllin Borges, Anirudh Thapa, Pronay Halder, Md. Rafique, Halicharan Narzary, Laldanmawia Ralte. 

FORWARDS: Sunil Chhetri, Jeje Lalpekhlua, Balwant Singh, Alen Deory.

The ten day tournament is expected to serve as a means for India to build up to their upcoming Asian Cup campaign in January 2019.
