Indian MMA star Bharat Kandare is set to make his UFC return at UFC 227. Bharat, who became the first Indian-born fighter at UFC Shanghai, will be looking to bounce back from his loss in his debut when he fights China’s Wuliji Buren “Beast Master” (10-5, fighting out of Beijing, China), at UFC 227.
Fighting out of Superhuman Gym, Bharat will have a long fight camp this time around unlike the last time where he had to take up the fight on a short notice. He also had a last-minute opponent change ahead of UFC Shanghai.
UFC 227 is set to take place on August 5th in Los Angeles and will be headlined by the Bantamweight championship fight between TJ Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt. Dana White recently revealed that he is looking to add a potential super fight between Nick Diaz and Georges St. Pierre to the card along with Alexander Gustafsson vs. Luke Rockhold.
