Albert Roca may not renew contract with Bengaluru FC
SPANIARD Albert Roca signed with Bengaluru FC in 2016. Since then he has won the team the Super Cup, Federation Cup and a runners-up medal at the AFC Cup.
Bengaluru FC will play in the AFC Cup final round of the group stage. Roca's side must win against Abahani and hope Aizawl FC draw or win against New Radiant to make it through to the Inter-Zone semi-finals of the AFC Cup.
With a 2-year contract signed on his arrival kept him with the club until end of 2017-18 season, the time for contract review has drawn close. Being able to amass decent success in his tenure, Roca does not look to stay on with the club further. His contract runs upto end of May this year.
