Movie buffs await 2 football related films from Kerala; VP Sathyan biopic & a 7s flick

KERALA IS KNOWN for it being crazy for football, be it the crowd going to watch the matches or just showing their love for the sport. This craze has often to big screen in form of movies.

Now football lovers will be seen heading to theatres as two movies related to the sport are set to release soon. One named 'Captain' features as a biopic on the late former Indian football team captain VP Sathyan. The film revolves around his life, journey as a footballer, policeman and his passion for the sport.

Meanwhile, the other termed under the genre of comedy, titled 'Sudani From Nigeria' is a story of an African who has made it big in Kerala Football. It features the much celebrated football tournament in Kerala - the 7s Football tournament.
