SOUTH AFRICA batsman AB de Villiers has been included in ODI squad for the remaining three ODIs against India. However, his availability and chances to take the field in the fourth ODI have still not been confirmed by the board.
ABD was sidelined during the first three ODIs due to a finger injury. Following the 124-run loss in the third ODI at Newlands, JP Duminy stated,
“Having AB back is going to be a massive boost. He’s one of the world’s best players in one-day cricket. He will bring confidence to the team and his leadership within the group will add a lot of value as well.”
The two teams are set to engage in the 4th ODI at the Wanderers on February 10. Virat Kohli’s men lead the series 3-0.
