ISL 2017-18: We'll have to play to our strengths to get a good result vs CFC, says BFC coach Roca

BENGALURU FC will take on Chennaiyin tonight at the latter's home-ground. BFC will be looking to avenge their home-leg defeat. Coach Albert Roca in the pre-match press conference, stated that their previous loss won't bother the team much.

"I don’t think so. The match against Chennaiyin FC was not a disaster. There were some good performances. They are a tough team, and they haven’t played for a while. So, we have to be clear in our approach and play to our strengths to get a good result."

He also addressed the tiring schedule that currently BFC is undergoing.

"We played two days ago in Kolkata, and now we have travelled here to Chennai. So, it is probably not the best way to prepare. And not just for my team - all teams should have a minimum of four days to prepare. But, now we have to accept it now and give our best."

Talking about their strikers Miku and Chhetri who have got the most number of goals for the team, he said,

"For me, it does not matter who scores. But I like it when the strikers score, because it means they are doing their job. But it makes things complicated when you always demand goals from strikers. So, it is important for the team-mates to contribute, and give back-up so that the team functions as a whole.”

Sharing the injury update, he said,

"Braulio  is out for the rest of the season, which is a shame while Harmanjot Khabra returns from his suspension."
