India Open 2018: Sindhu, Pranaav/Sikki enter SF, other Indians end their campaign
MIXED RESULTS for Indian shuttlers at India Open as Saina Nehwal, Parupalli Kashyap, Sai Praneeth, Sameer Verma, Manu Attri/Sumeeth Reddy, Ashwini Ponnappa/Sikki Reddy, Ashwini/Satwik, Jakkampudi Meghana/Poorvisha Ram ended their campaign in the quarter-finals.
But India still have medal hopes as PV Sindhu, Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Sikki have claimed a spot in the semi-finals with wins over their opponents. Top seed Sindhu defeated 8th seed Beatriz Corrales 21-12, 19-21, 21-11 to face third seed Intanon next.
Pranaav/Sikki had an easy encounter beating Han Chengkai/Cao Tong Wei 21-8, 21-13. They will play Mathias Christiansen/Christinna Pedersen.
