ISL 2017-18: FC Goa to sign 22 year old Moroccan Hugo Boumous
AFTER having swooped on Kerala Blasters FC’s Mark Sifneos, FC Goa are set to add another foreigner to the squad. It is believed FC Goa will let go of Manuel Arana and bring in 22 year-old central midfielder Hugo Boumous.
Boumous will be insurance back up for Jahouh. His signing will add depth to the FC Goa midfield which has been limited due to over reliance on Jahouh and Edu.
Hugo comes from Moghreb Tetouan club in Morroco. Incidentally, FC Goa coach Sergio Lobera was the coach of Moghreb Tetouan before heading to FC Goa. Ahmed Jahouh, FC Goa’s defensive midfielder, also has played at Tetouan.
