I-League 2017-18: WATCH: Fans give a heart-felt farewell to their star player Sony Norde

SONY NORDE, Mohun Bagan's star striker is all set to leave the club due to an injury for which he'll be out for the rest of the season. Therefore he has decided to leave for Argentina where he will undergo an operation and the entire rehab process.

He called for a press conference today (22nd January) and fans flooded the event, acknowledging their favourite player. He was left in tears with the gesture from the fans, he also addressed the media later and spoke about the situation.

But he has also assured that once he's fully fit he would return to the club.
