IPL 2018 - 4 low base priced international players who could earn big & debut in IPL 11
THE 11TH EDITION IPL is set to be staged in April this year but prior to the mega event, a bunch of cricketers are set to go under the hammer at the players' auction on January 27 and 28 in Bengaluru. While 1122 players had registered for the auction, teams will be vying among a list of 578 players.
A total of 62 capped Indians and 298 uncapped Indians will vie for the available slots with 182 capped overseas cricketers, 34 uncapped overseas players and two cricketers from the Associate Nations. With Rs 2 crore as the highest reserve price, 36 players, including 13 Indians, have opted for the top bracket. While some players will attract heavy bids as franchises will look to build their teams, there are a handful of players who could prove a bang for the buck if picked at the base price.
With the speculations revolving around the base prices completely over, we take a look at some of the uncapped players who are slotted in the lowest base but could punch above their weight in the forthcoming season.
