MATCH REPORT: Fastest ever ISL goal scored by Jamshedpur in win over Kerala Blasters

TWO GOALS from Jamshedpur FC gave them the first ever home win. Kerala Blasters scored late to pull one back.

It was the home team who started well. Jamshedpur made a great start to the game when they scored in the very first minute. A mishit shot falls well for Jerry in the box who side stepped the keeper and scored the first goal before Kerala could even settle in the game. 22 seconds is what Jamshedpur FC took to score and it was the fastest goal of ISL’s history.

From a corner, Kerala posed their first danger. Hume's powerful header was hit goalwards and saved with by Raju with a fantastic defensive header right on the goal line. Subrata picked up the ball from close to him after the header was closest to him.

The home team struck again after half an hour. Good work from the left side saw a ball played in the Kerala box. Ashim Biswas swung his leg to score past an unmoved Rachubka.

The second half saw no big threats from either teams. Jerry with ten minutes remaining crossed from the right and Azuka’s header did not have the power to beat Rachubka saving it with a comfortable catch. Sifneos the substitute pulled one back for Kerala as the cross from the right was not dealt well allowing him to nod in the only goal for the away side.
