Conte vs Mourinho - Round 4! Man City vs Arsenal! Bilic on the brink? Game week 11 - Premier League Predictions

Game Week 10 was pivotal for the title race, Man Utd and Spurs both needed to win to show they are genuine title contenders to Man City and 'The Special One' did one over Pochettino with a tactical masterclass at Old Trafford. Man City had little trouble putting away West Brom, Chelsea came away with a hard fought 1-0 while Arsenal and Liverpool both had comfortable wins at home.

This is a very big week in the Premier League with 4 of the top 6 playing each other on Sunday.

Here's this week's Premier League Predictions:

Stoke vs Leicester -  Both teams went into last week desperately needing 3 points and managed to get them. I was not convinced by the way Stoke played I think they were lucky to come away with a win, Watford created better chances and it was last ditch defending from Stoke for most of the game. Leicester had a much more comfortable afternoon than I'd imagined as they brushed aside an Everton team that don't seem to be going anywhere at the moment. This is a very important game for both teams in their bid to get clear of that relegation zone and start building some momentum. I like the appointment of Claude Puel, I think he will make Leicester tactically more astute and hard to break down and with Stoke struggling for goals up front I can't see them breaking down this Leicester side. I'm going for a Leicester win in this one.

My Prediction: Stoke 0 - 2 Leicester
Manas predicts: Stoke 1 - 1 Leicester
Shyam predicts: Stoke 1 - 1 Leicester
FPL Pick: Mahrez

Huddersfield vs West Brom -  After the high of beating Man Utd a couple of weeks back Huddersfield were brought crashing down to earth by Liverpool at Anfield. West Brom gave  a good account of themselves against an unstoppable City side but were powerless to prevent Guardiola and men from scoring. This is going to be a real test for Huddersfield, West Brom are very well drilled tactically and I won't be surprised if Tony Pulis set's his team up to be a bit more physical. I'm sure David Wagner would have spent the week on the training ground with his team focusing on defending set pieces. I think Huddersfield will have their work cut out in this one, West Brom should get all 3 points in what should be a relatively comfortable afternoon.
My Prediction: Huddersfield 0 - 2 West Brom
Manas Predicts: Huddersfield 2 - 0 West Brom
Shyam Predicts: Huddersfield 2 - 1 West Brom
FPL Pick: Rondon, Hegazhi

Newcastle vs Bournemouth -  Rafa Benitez would have been very disappointed not to have come away with atleast a point from Turf Moor in a game were both sides cancelled each other out. Bournemouth put in a solid shift against Chelsea and should have atleast got a draw, they played well and Chelsea were hanging on in the last 10 minutes. This is a game Bournemouth need to win more than Newcastle who sit 9th on the table averaging a little more than a point a game. The good news for Eddie Howe is that Callum Wilson is nearing match fitness. Newcastle look very solid in defence but they need to create more in front of goal from open play if they win more games and finish in the top 10. This is a tough one to call, Eddie Howe needs a win and I think they will get it.

My Prediction: Newcastle 1 - 2 Bournemouth
Manas Predicts: Newcastle 1 - 0 Bournemouth
Shyam Predicts: Newcastle 2 - 2 Bournemouth
FPL Pick: Ritchie, Surman

Southampton vs Burnley - Southampton were brilliant in the first half against Brighton last week and then they just dropped off in the second half and ended up with a draw, a game they should have won. Burnley are flying high, they're playing some excellent football and sit 7th on the table level on points with 6th placed Liverpool after their win against Newcastle last week. These are two teams who first focus on staying strong defensively and keeping their shape before attacking. I don't see either team going all out in attack and can see a cautious game. Sean Dyche has done an excellent job so in making this Burnley play a certain way, I think it'll be very tight this one, I'm going for Burnley to knick it.

My Prediction: Southampton 0 - 1 Burnley
Manas Predicts: Southampton 2 - 1 Burnley
Shyam Predicts: Southampton 2 - 0 Burnley
FPL Pick: van Dijk, Ben Mee

Swansea vs Brighton - Swansea went into half time with a surprise lead at the Emirates before Arsenal came back and scored 2 goals. After a poor first half against Southampton, Brighton came out rallying in the second and got a well deserved point courtesy of the in-form Pascal Gross who laid on another assist. Swansea looked decent going forward in the first half and finally seem to have clicked in attack. Brighton have taken 4 points from their last 2 games and look comfortable mid table. Both teams will go into this game looking to take 3 points but I think Swansea have just about enough to take all 3 points at home.

My Prediction: Swansea 2 - 1 Brighton
Manas Predicts: Swansea 2 - 1 Brighton
Shyam Predicts: Swansea 2 - 1 Brighton
FPL Pick: Abraham, Fer

West Ham vs Liverpool -  Slaven Bilic would have torn into his players after they threw away a 2 goal lead against Crystal Palace to draw 2-2. Liverpool had a very comfortable afternoon against Huddersfield and looked in complete control throughout the game. This is a big game for West Ham, Bilic is still under pressure and a loss could force the owners hand. Klopp will be looking at all 3 points knowing this is a great chance for his team to close the gap to the leaders. I think this should be one of the most entertaining games of the season, both teams are poor defensively while boasting good attacking talents, based on that this game should be a proper goal fest, I'm going for the home team to knick it.

My Prediction: West Ham 4 - 3 Liverpool
Manas Predicts: West Ham 1 - 3 Liverpool
Shyam Predicts: West Ham 1 - 3 Liverpool
FPL Pick: Antonio, Chicharito,  Firmino

Spurs vs Crystal Palace - Spurs didn't create much against Man Utd last week, their build up play was slow and cautious and they looked like they were more worried about keeping possession than scoring a goal. Crystal Palace showed great desire to come back from 2 goals down and snatch a late equalizer courtesy of their talisman Wilfried Zaha. Spurs looked like they missed Harry Kane last week against and will be very happy to have him back for this week's game. Last week's 2-2 draw will feel like a win for Roy Hodgson and his men and they will go into the team knowing they can hurt Spurs who will be without Hugo Lloris for the next 2 weeks. Spurs have been in a very good form off late if you remove last week's result and the way they blew Real Madrid away mid week just shows what they're capable of. I think it should be a comfortable afternoon for Spurs at Wembley in what would be a routine home win.
My Prediction: Spurs 3 - 1 Crystal Palace
Manas Predicts: Spurs 4 - 0 Crystal Palace
Shyam Predicts: Spurs 1 - 1 Crystal Palace
FPL Pick: Kane, Alli

Man City vs Arsenal - The runaway leaders looked unstoppable once again last week and even though the final score was 2-3 to City it could have easily been 2-5 or 2-6, that's how good they are at the moment in every match. Arsenal showed great character to come from behind at the Emirates against Swansea last week but in fairness they shouldn't have even found themselves there in the first place, that's how dominant they were. These games are where the title is going to be won or lost for me and Man City have looked impeccable so far boasting wins over Liverpool ad Chelsea already. Arsenal seem to be putting on a decent run at the moment but they always look one loss away from imploding. I think this will be a test for Man City, Wenger will set his team up to play their natural way rather than trying to defend like Chelsea and with the pace they have upfront I think they could really do some damage to this City side.

We know what we're going to get from Man City, they will have lots of the ball, A win for Arsenal would really lay down a marker as them being genuine contenders. I'm going for a surprise Arsenal win in this one, I really feel they can hurt this City defence with their pace.
My Prediction: Man City 1 - 2 Arsenal
Manas Predicts: Man City 3 - 0 Arsenal
Shyam Predicts: Man City 5 - 1 Arsenal
FPL Pick: de Bruyne, Sanchez

Chelsea vs Man Utd - Chelsea's win over Bournemouth last week was anything but comfortable and then they had a calamitous evening in Rome. Man Utd put in another strong defensive display limiting an otherwise free scoring Spurs to a single clear cut chance in the whole game and taking all 3 points. Things just don't seem right at Chelsea at the moment there a lot of mixed messages coming out of the Chelsea camp, Conte on the touchline seems to have lost his mojo and the players just seem to be indifferent. Jose Mourinho meanwhile is enjoying an excellent campaign so far with his team having kept 8 clean sheets in 10 games in the Premier League and even though he's come under unfair criticism of late from the media for his style of play they look much more like a team with a clear sense of togetherness in the group. Man Utd have a wretched record at Stamford Bridge of late but I think they will go into the game confident that they can hurt this Chelsea side.

I think Conte needs a win more than Mourinho but I think both teams will set up not to concede and I think we could see Man Utd playing a similar system they played against Chelsea at Old Trafford in April when they beat them 2-0. Mourinho will know the result of the Man City vs Arsenal game but whatever happens in that one I can't see Mourinho changing his game plan. It could be a draw but I just think Man Utd can get away with 3 points, I'm going for United win.
My Prediction: Chelsea 0 - 2 Man Utd
Manas Predicts: Chelsea 1 - 1 Man Utd
Shyam Predicts: Chelsea 0 - 1 Man Utd
FPL Pick: Lukaku, de Gea

Everton vs Watford - Everton were very poor against Leicester, they just don't look like a team at the moment, it looks like sqaure pegs in round holes. Watford need to be more clinical in front of goal if they are to challenge for European places, they've missed some gilt-edged chances against both Chelsea and then last week against Stoke with both games resulting in defeats. I don't see Everton going anywhere at the moment and I think Unsworth needs to figure a way out to get results, at the moment they don't look like they can score goals but they sure do look like they can concede them easily. Marco Silva will ask his team to continue playing the same way they have, they're creating a lot of chances and it's only a matter of time they start putting them away again. Everton need to setup not to concede a goal, I think they could really do with a strong defensive display, I can see this game being a draw.
My Prediction: Everton 1 - 1 Watford
Manas Predicts: Everton 2 - 2 Watford
Shyam Predicts: Everton 1 - 2 Watford
FPL Pick: Davies, Richarlison
