HS PRANNOY of the Ahmedabad Smash Masters was on a winning run with 10 match undefeated in the PBL season. He continued his brilliant performance for the Smash Masters into the third season too. But it was ended when his team was playing Chennai Smashers.
He was up against Thai shuttler Tanongsak of Chennai. He dropped a game, losing the first one this season but fought back to win the second and push the match into a decider.
A neck-to-neck battle in the final, saw both the shuttlers give their all as the scores were levelled at 14-14. And it took 51 shot rally for Tanongsak to break Prannoy's winning run.
